Spirit of Hope Second Collection This Weekend: This weekend, August 29–30, we will take up a Second Collection for the Spirit of Hope Disaster Response Fund to assist those affected by the severe flooding in Perry and Muskingum Counties. All funds collected will go directly toward relief efforts in the affected communities. You can give online through the Diocese here. For more information, see this weekend’s bulletin. Take a Step to Grow in Faith: One of my hopes for every parishioner at St. Paul is that we never become complacent in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Each of us is called to continue growing, learning, and allowing the Lord to shape our lives. This weekend, you will hear about two opportunities to take that next step: Walking with Purpose for women and That Man Is You! for men. Both offer a chance to deepen your faith, grow in your relationship with Christ, and build meaningful friendships with others who are seeking to do the same. I encourage you to listen to the invitations you hear at Mass this weekend and prayerfully consider whether the Lord may be calling you to say yes. Welcome Seminarian Timothy Kawash: I am happy to welcome Timothy Kawash to St. Paul. Timothy is a seminarian for the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston and is beginning his fifth year of formation at the Pontifical College Josephinum. He will be spending time with us at St. Paul over the next couple of years as part of his formation as he prepares for ordination to the diaconate next summer. Originally from Charleston, West Virginia, Timothy studied accounting at the University of Dayton before entering seminary. He has a particular love for Sacred Scripture and Christology and is looking forward to becoming part of our parish community, serving and learning alongside us, and getting to know our parishioners. Please join me in welcoming Timothy to St. Paul and praying for him as he continues his journey toward the priesthood!
Coffee & Donut Sunday Returns Next Sunday: Mark your calendars! Next Sunday, after the 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM Masses, join us in Lower Level 3 for coffee, donuts, and fellowship with your St. Paul parish family.
Labor Day Schedule Updates: On Monday, September 7, Labor Day, there will be only one Mass at 8:15 AM. There will be no 6:30 AM Mass. The Parish Office, St. Joseph Adoration Chapel, and Marian Gift Shop will also be closed for the holiday.

Prayer Intentions for Greece: On October 20, I will depart on a parish pilgrimage to Greece to walk in the footsteps of St. Paul. Beginning this weekend, you are invited to leave prayer requests and intentions for me to take on pilgrimage. The prayer intention book will be in the St. Paul Chapel through Monday, October 19. All prayer intentions included in the book will be remembered at each celebration of Mass throughout the pilgrimage.
