Pilgrimage to the Beatification of Fulton Sheen: This past week, I had the privilege of traveling to St. Louis with a group of pilgrims for the beatification of Blessed Fulton J. Sheen. It was a beautiful experience and a historic moment for the Church as we celebrated the life and witness of this great American evangelist. Throughout the pilgrimage, I shared videos and reflections from the road, our visits to churches and sacred sites in St. Louis, and the beatification itself. October is Respect Life Month: Every October, the Catholic Church in the United States celebrates Respect Life Month. As Catholics, we are called to welcome, care for, and protect God’s gift of human life. The Ohio Mass for Life will take place at 9:00 AM this Friday, October 2 at St. Joseph Cathedral. Immediately after the Mass, the Ohio March for Life will begin on the west lawn of the Ohio Statehouse, and you can learn more here. As part of the Fall 2026 40 Days for Life campaign, our parish has committed to prayer coverage at Planned Parenthood, 3255 E. Main St., on Saturday, October 3 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Sacred Heart Congress: Join me for the 15th Annual Sacred Heart Congress on Saturday, November 7 and deepen your love for the Heart of Jesus. The morning will feature Bishop Earl K. Fernandes, Bishop Donald Hying, Annie Mitchell of the Son Rise Morning Show, and Emily Jaminet, along with Mass, the Rosary, Eucharistic Adoration, and Benediction. St. Gabriel Radio Interview: Yesterday, I joined St. Gabriel Catholic Radio AM 820 for a conversation about Dei Verbum, the Second Vatican Council’s Dogmatic Constitution on Divine Revelation. Click here to listen to this recording along with any of my past interviews.
10:00 AM Mass Parking: Parking can be especially busy for the 10:00 AM Mass. As a reminder, additional parking is available in the Moss Road lot on the north side of the school. Parishioners who are able are encouraged to park there and walk to the church.
Parish Office Closed: The parish office will be closed this Wednesday, September 30, as our staff gathers for a retreat. Please keep our staff in your prayers.
In Memoriam: Please pray for the repose of the soul of our recently deceased parishioner, Dennis Eichorn, and for the consolation of his family. The family would also like to extend an invitation to any parishioners wishing to attend the funeral Mass.
